Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is a survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. The game was released in 1999 and is the third game in the Resident Evil series.

The game takes place in Raccoon City, a midwestern American town that has been overrun by the Umbrella Corporation's T-virus. The player assumes the role of Jill Valentine, a former member of the S.T.A.R.S. police force who is trying to escape the city before it is destroyed by a missile strike.

As Jill tries to flee the city, she encounters a new creature created by Umbrella, called Nemesis. Nemesis is a bio-organic weapon that is specifically designed to hunt down and eliminate S.T.A.R.S. members. Throughout the game, Nemesis relentlessly pursues Jill, making her escape from the city all the more difficult.

As Jill navigates through the city, she discovers that Umbrella is responsible for the outbreak and that the company has been conducting illegal experiments on the citizens of Raccoon City. Jill also meets a number of survivors who are trying to escape the city, including Carlos Oliveira, a member of Umbrella's Biohazard Countermeasure Service (U.B.C.S.).

In the game's final act, Jill and Carlos work together to fight off the remaining creatures and make their way to the evacuation helicopter. Along the way, they encounter Nemesis one final time in a battle to the death.

The game's multiple endings depend on the player's choices throughout the game. In one ending, Jill is rescued by the helicopter and escapes the city. In another, she sacrifices herself to destroy Nemesis and save Carlos.

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is often praised for its intense action and horror elements, as well as its memorable antagonist, Nemesis.
